Pastor Edwin Zuobomudor Agbana is an Academia with dynamic passion for Innovation and Creativity.
He is currently with the Bayelsa State Institute of Entrepreneurship and Vocational Training.
Until his appointment with the Institute, he was a lecturer and head of Entrepreneurial Unit of the International Institute of Tourism and
Hospitality Yenagoa.
He is a Commonwealth/ILO certified trainer of the Get Ahead for Youth in Enterprise in 2011. In addition, he is an Enterprise development
specialist with special focus on Youth and Women Entrepreneurial Development. His passion for Entrepreneurial Development grew from his early days
at the University of Calabar, where he joined the junior Chamber International (JCI) club, a world leadership training organization.
Agbana was amongst the first trained in Namibia to master the Get Ahead for Youth Enterprise Train-the-Trainer' and he has facilitated
Youth Entrepreneurial Development Capacity Building training manual in Namibia and also exchange capacity development programme in Zimbabwe.
Furthermore, he has also facilitated numerous train-the-trainer programmes under the Commonwealth-ILO (Namibia Youth Credit Scheme)
Youth programme, which provide Basic Business Skills and Vocational training for Youth resources centers in Namibia and Nigeria
Using the Get Ahead and Basic Business Skill Training tools.
Presently, Agbana is the Bayelsa State Coordinator for Institute of Chartered Entrepreneurship of Nigeria. He also consult for for different
organization on Enterprise Development and Strategic planning. He is also a lead facilitator for the NIRSAL-CBN Entrepreneurship Training with over
3000 Trained. He is also capacitated on Monitoring and Evaluation at Namibia.
Hence, this has given him a wealth of experience in excellent Communication, skill transfer, Project development, Monitoring and Evaluation,
and also business impact assessment.
He is a graduate of Economics from the prestigious University of Calabar, MSc Development Economics from Niger Delta University,
Wilberforce Island and PhD Development Economist From Ignatus Ajuru University of Education, Port Harcourt.
